St Raphael's Ruins : These ruins are located north of Lancaster Ontario. The church was built in 1821 and burned down in 1970. No knows what caused the fire and today stands as a testimony of a small town's strength and perserverance.

In 1970 a fire consumed the church of St. Raphael's, one of the earliest Roman Catholic churches in English-speaking Canada. Fortunately the outer walls were spared and today its impressive scale and fine masonry work continue to attract the tourists to the site. The Ruins were declared a National Historic Site in 1999.

Upper Canada Village : This village was created in the 1950's when the Saunders Hydro dam was built in Cornwall. There were many villages in the area that were flooded and most of the buildings were relocated to new villages or donated to Upper Canada Village. The village shows what life was in the 1820's. There are 40 buildings on the site and is a wonderful variety of people and employment there were in this era.
